Christmas is the one time of year where you should indulge yourself. You don't have to go crazy but if there's one thing you need to make room for, it's truffles. This recipe for homemade Chocolate and Lir Whiskey Truffles are the perfect treat to share with the family or gift on this festive season!
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon liquid glucose
1 tablespoon honey
25ml Lir Green Crest Whiskey
100ml double cream
250g chopped dark chocolate
75g soft butter
Cocoa to dust
How To Make:
Simmer the glucose, honey, Lir Whiskey and cream.
Melt the chocolate and butter together in a heat proof bowl over simmering water.
Mix in the cream mixture.
Chill to set.
Roll into balls and coat in the cocoa powder
